Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 10, 2026
Draft pending review by Recalde Law Firm, P.A.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how this website handles personal information. The site is operated for Recalde Lemon Law, a consumer practice of Recalde Law Firm, P.A. located at 1111 Brickell Avenue, 10th Floor, Miami, FL 33131. It covers this website only. Information you share after the firm formally takes your case is governed by the engagement agreement and the rules of attorney confidentiality, which are stricter than this policy.
2. What we collect
Contact form fields. When you ask for a callback or use the case check, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, and a short description of your vehicle situation, along with your consent to be contacted. We collect only what you type in.
Hosting logs. The site is a static site and runs no analytics scripts of its own. Our hosting provider keeps basic server logs, such as IP address, pages requested, and timestamps, for security and operations. We do not use those logs to profile you.
No cookies for tracking. The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use what you submit to respond to your request: to call or email you back, to evaluate whether the firm can help with your vehicle issue, and to keep a record of the contact. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without asking you first.
4. We do not sell your personal data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.
5. Who processes data for us
A small number of service providers handle data so the site can work:
Netlify hosts the website and serves its pages, which generates the hosting logs described above.
Lead routing: form submissions are delivered to the firm's intake system so the team can follow up with you.
Resend delivers transactional email, such as confirmations and intake notifications.
Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job, and we do not authorize any of them to use your information for their own purposes.
6. How long we keep information
Form submissions are kept as long as needed to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, and then for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and conflict-checking. If you become a client, your information moves into the firm’s client files and is kept according to the firm’s retention obligations under Florida Bar rules. You can ask us to delete an inquiry that did not become an engagement, and we will honor that request unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. How we protect information
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions travel encrypted in transit, and access to intake records is limited to people who need it to respond to you. No website can promise perfect security, but we limit what we collect in the first place, which is the strongest protection there is.
8. Breach notification: our Florida commitment
We follow the Florida Information Protection Act, section 501.171, Florida Statutes. If a breach of security affects your unencrypted personal information, we will notify you as the law requires, generally within 30 days of determining a breach occurred, and we will notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs when the law requires it. We will tell you what happened, what information was involved, and what we are doing about it.
9. Your rights and choices
You may ask us: what information we hold about your inquiry, to correct it, or to delete it. You may withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time by telling us, and we will stop. To exercise any of these rights, call the office or write to the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not treat you differently for asking.
10. Children
This site is about vehicle warranty rights and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. We will not quietly weaken protections for information you already gave us.
